A Gourmet Dining Experience at the Anacapa Brewing Company

Join our new Executive Chef Levon Wallace (formerly of Austen's at the
Pierpont Inn) for our annual "Oktoberfest Brewmaster Dinner." Former
Executive Chef Sandy Smith has handed over the reins to Levon and he has put
together a great meu as you can see below. As is our format, you will enjoy
5-courses matched with 5 different ales and lagers selected by Brewmaster
Guy Bartmess. We usually don't limit your beer consumption, so if you really
love a particular style that we're serving that night, we are more than
happy to pour you an additional glass.
The dinner will start at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 25th--that's only two
weeks away so don't delay. We haven't hosted a Brewmaster Dinner since April
so this event may sell out. Seven straight dinners have sold out so don't
wait too long to reserve your place.
As usual the price is only $45 per person (plus tax & gratuity). Seating
will be limited to 50 guests and a $25 per person deposit is required at the
time of reserving your seat. The restaurant will be closed to regular
business for this reservation only dinner. Sorry, special promotional
discounts will not apply to this dinner such as Mug Club discounts,
Discovery Dining, etc.
First Course:
Sundried Tomato & Asiago Bavarian Pretzel with cranberry dijon, shallot & cambazola relish.
Second Course:
Herb Crepe & Apfel Salad with rock shrimp, shaved fennel, frisee with warm apple wood bacon vinaigrette & lobster butter.
Third Course:
West Philian Rye-crusted Opah accompanied by cassoulet beans, blackberry
balsamic jam & basil puree.
Fourth Course:
Seared Duck Breast over Sweet Potato Almond Hash with Brie, proscuitto,
asparagus gratin & sorghum duck fond.
Dessert:
Brown Butter Spiced Torte, Irish Oatmeal & Dark Chocolate Lace Cookie with
Smoked Pear Coulis.

vegetarians, we do our best to adapt the menu to meet your needs. Let the
staff know at the time of your reservation that you will require a
vegetarian menu.
